My After Hours
Tech for social good
UWBlueprint scopes, designs, and builds software for non-profits, where I've been a tech lead across three different NPOs, all the way to presidency.
However, I would define us as being rooted in a community built around mentorship. I hope I positively affected at least one person :)
Canada's Largest Hackathon
In 2021, Hack The North was my first time in software, and now I'm back as a hacker!
Organizing itself was defined by true creativity, where I was on frontend. Multiple layers of assets? Horizontal scrolling transition?? Never have I ever had so much fun in FE.
Building for inclusivity
Event platforms and calendars don't always consider everyone and can be tough to use, but there's always a start.
We are building a platform for event sharing and hosting in Kitchener-Waterloo, working to empower every person to find and attend events for themselves.
